Musical Ride Camps

Our Musical Ride Camps are run as ‘day’ camps. Campers come for half-days for one to two weeks. The goal of the camp is to learn and perform a musical ride performance on horseback. This is difficult to do, and Campers leave camp with a sense of accomplishment having achieved their goal by the end of the week. Designed to build endurance and confidence, both individually and as a group, the Summer Musical Ride Camps are always a big hit!

FYI - Musical Rides are a ‘flat’ ride, more formally called dressage. Dressage is defined as the "highest expression of horse training". "Dressage" literally means "training" in French. Join us this summer to learn what it means to train yourself and your mount to ride in sync and unity with other riders and their horses.

1 Timothy 4:7 reads, "... train yourself for godliness." At He Loves Me Stables, we believe that godliness is the highest expression of training that trickles down into every aspect of life, including riding. We are excited to work with the Campers to develop godly characters, while "training" together to create a musical ride to be performed on the last day of camp.
