"Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters..."
- Isaiah 55:1
We know what it means to thirst. We also know that Jesus is the Living Water who satisfies every thirst. He is the One calling each of us, "Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live..." (Isaiah 55:3). It is in this freedom that He Loves Me Stables is being built - the freedom Jesus gives each of us to come to Him because He loves us.
The God of this universe came to earth for you, to rescue you, simply because He loves you! He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die in your place, so you can have new life with Him! In this is love (1 John 4:10).
This is why we do what we do, and love what we do. He Loves Me Stables is a Christian-based stable, focused on enjoying God, His creation, and the life that only He can give as we walk with Him moment by moment. Each day we see new ways that He shows His love for us; His mercies are new every morning!
We are a mother-daughters team who believe that animals, in particular horses, offer unique relationship-building experiences and life lessons that can point to and glorify God! Let us share with you the joy of knowing God loves you, and that He created you to enjoy Him and to live life abundantly with Him. There is no greater joy!
We are primarily a grain farm, located just 10 minutes east of High River; however, we have always had a few horses. Over the past eleven years, we have expanded into the equine world, enjoying every minute of it!
We are actively involved in Pony Club and jumping with our horses and ponies. We also have fun going on relaxing rides through the fields, checking the cows or just letting our horses stretch their legs. And of course, we love teaching lessons! Anything to do with horses!
Laura got her first pony when she was 11 years old, a brown Welsh mare. She joined the local 4-H Light Horse Club, where she rode Western in clinics, a few shows, and gymkhanas. She put in lots of miles riding in the ditches and canals around her house growing up.

Getting back into horses after the kids were older, Laura has loved watching her kids grow with the horses from the miniature donkey, Reno, to the ponies to the horses.
An incredible leader, Laura takes care of the paperwork one minute and the next is out sharing her passion with the students. She is gracious and fun, building confidence in the students. Her leadership has been a huge blessing to the Stables. Laura enjoys teaching, sharing what she loves with her students, and living each day spontaneously with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!

Carol has a gentle and methodical way of teaching the students. She takes the time to clearly explain techniques, allowing the students to learn in their own time. Being conscientious and sensitive to the students’ as well as the horses’ needs, she is a great asset to the Stables.
