He Loves Me Stables is excited to announce that our 2026 foal has arrived! He is a bay colt with two hind socks, one right front half-pastern, a stripe that looks just like his mom's, along with a very cute dish-face!

This colt was lovable from the start! He loves scratches on his croup area, and is already very valued and loved, having a great mother. We know choosing a name for this little guy will be exciting!

While Laura, Sandra, Carol, and Diane were at Alhambra camp Merrylegs gave birth! None of them got to see this colt until he was a day old! So because of the people who stepped up and helped out, this colt and his mother are alive and here with us.

2026 Name the Foal Contest Details
How to Enter
To enter the Contest, email your entry to helovesmestables@outlook.com before the deadline (August 31, 2026).
Each entry must include the following:
• Name of Contestant
• Phone Number and Email Address of Contestant
• Your chosen Registered Name of the Foal
• Meaning of the Name or reason for choosing the Name
Name Guidelines
• A horse's registered name can be one word, or more than one word.
• A horse's registered name is how the horse is introduced at shows and will be on the horse's pedigree, while a stable name is what the horse is called "in the stable" or at the farm, everyday. Not all horses are registered, but these foals will be.
• He Loves Me Stables will register the foals under their chosen names and then decide what the foals' everyday "stable names" will be, most likely (but not always) based on their registered names. Starfire is this little colt's barn name, so he just needs a registered name!

Selection Process
He Loves Me Stables staff will choose the winning name from all the entries. The staff who are choosing the winning Name will not know who picked what name, so be sure not to tell the staff your name in person when you visit He Loves Me Stables:)
Names we are looking for are original, suit the foal, and have a special meaning.
The Winning Name
The winning name will be chosen for each foal by He Loves Me Stables one week after the close of the Contest (August 31st, 2026). Once a name has been chosen for a foal, "HLMS" will be added to the start of the name and the foal will be registered under his or her new name.
Prize Details
Along with the prize of having the name you picked on the foal’s registration papers, each winner will also receive a He Loves Me Stables sweater and a Name the Foal Contest Winner insulated water bottle. Your picture with the foal will also be recorded in He Loves Me Stables’ Records of the Name the Foal Contest Winners.
